I’m the founder and editor of Recall Refunds. I started it after one too many recipe pages made me scroll past a long personal essay just to find how long a dish actually takes to cook.
My approach is simple: test the recipe, give honest prep and cook times, use ingredients you can actually find, and get straight to the instructions — no filler, and always free.
Building Recall Refunds
I built Recall Refunds because the system for warning people about dangerous or defective products is broken at the last mile. Recalls get announced, but the notices are buried in PDFs and databases almost nobody reads — so the refund goes unclaimed and the risky product stays in someone’s home. I wanted a plain-English place that answers the only questions that matter: ‘Is my product affected?’, ‘What’s the danger?’, and ‘How do I get my money back or a fix?’ — laid out clearly, sourced to the official notice, and ready when you need it.
