Coreline has recalled its 30W USB-C wall chargers because the plastic housing can crack and expose electrical components.
What was recalled
The recall covers Coreline 30W USB-C fast chargers (model CL-30C).
Products and models affected
- Model CL-30C (30W USB-C)
- Sold individually and in 2-packs
- White housing with folding prongs
The model number is printed on the side of the charger near the prongs.
Why it was recalled
The housing can separate at the seam with repeated use, exposing internal contacts and creating a risk of electric shock. Coreline has received 12 reports of cracked housings.
What you should do
Stop using the charger and unplug it. Do not attempt to tape or repair the housing.
