Why Were They Recalled?
A retail sample tested through the Canadian Food Inspection Agency found gluten that was not declared on the label. Exotique Foods then initiated the U.S. recall with the knowledge of FDA.
Undeclared gluten is a health concern for people with celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders who rely on food labels to avoid exposure. FDA defines gluten as proteins found naturally in wheat, rye, barley and crossbred varieties of those grains.

Exotique Foods is offering a full refund for the recalled product.
FDA says consumers can discard the chips or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Because the U.S. product was sold through Amazon.com, affected buyers can use their Amazon order information to identify the purchase.
The recall notice does not say that the original package or receipt is required.

Where Was It Sold?
The recalled chips were sold through Amazon.com to 49 U.S. customers between March and June 2026.

The same product was also recalled in Canada, where the Canadian Food Inspection Agency listed distribution online and in Ontario.
What If I Already Ate the Chips?
