Why it was recalled
Listeria can cause serious illness in young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems, and can cause miscarriage in pregnant women. No illnesses have been confirmed.
What you should do
Do not eat the spinach. Throw it away or return it to the store, and clean any surfaces it may have touched.
