Vantage Motors has recalled certain 2023–2024 Meridian SUVs because a fault in the electronic braking software can increase stopping distance under hard braking.

Why it was recalled
Under certain conditions the braking control module may briefly reduce assist, lengthening stopping distance and increasing crash risk. Vantage is aware of no crashes related to the defect.
What you should do
Continue driving with extra following distance and schedule the free software update as soon as parts and appointments are available.
Free Repair
Dealers will install a free software update to the braking module. Owners will be notified by mail; the fix takes about an hour at no charge.
